High Fructose Leads To Weight Gain

What you are eating too much of might be causing your weight problem, besides the lack of exercise. Check out your article…

How High Fructose Corn Syrup Makes You Gain Weight

This article is truly eye opening and I think it is a reason so many of us are gaining weight. Could you be eating too much fructose and I am not talking about the fructose that is derived from fruit? Studies have shown that we don’t eat enough fruit as it is. Did you know that many of the foods you eat are processed and are chalked full of fructose?

Quote from the article:

“There are lots of people out there who want to demonize fructose as the cause of the obesity epidemic,” she said. “I think it may be a contributor, but it’s not the only problem. Americans are eating too many calories for their activity level. We’re overeating fat, we’re overeating protein; and we’re overeating all sugars.” Americans are eating too many calories for their activity level. We’re overeating fat, we’re overeating protein; and we’re overeating all sugars.”

Fructose Intolerance Causes A Change In Eating Habits And Forced Weight-loss

My mom was diagnosed with a fructose intolerance late last year. It is very hard to diagnose. She was having stomach pain for years. She was tested for everything and finally a recent doctor after excluding everything else narrowed it down to a fructose intolerance.

Well my mom had to change her eating habits to say the least. I don’t know how she does it. She virtually had to rid her pantry of all the name brand foods that you would be familiar with. It would shock you if you knew how much fructose we consume on a daily basis. I am happy to report that my mom is down 45 pounds. She looks great. Her doctor still wants her to lose more.

Eating Too Many Calories Or Eating, Then Try FORM…

I have also struggled with my weight for most of my life. I am down 13 pounds by just cutting down on what I am eating. It is hard to cut back. But, I am trying FORM product that helps me cut down on what I eat. It is truly a godsend. I just take a pill before meals and I am don’t eat as much. In fact, my wife and I now split a plate when we go out and eat, which saves us money, calories and leaves money for more important things like gas for the car.

Why You Should Use Your Self-Directed IRA to Purchase Alternative Assets

Sunday, July 27th, 2008

Using your self directed IRA to purchase alternative assets can help you increase your retirement income exponentially. How? Before we answer this, consider some sobering retirement statistics.

Can You Afford to Retire? A Self-Directed IRA Can Get You There

Most financial experts estimate that you’ll need between 60%-80% of your pre-retirement income to maintain your current lifestyle after you retire. Furthermore, according to the Employee Benefits Research Institute, less than 50% of Americans have even given thought to how much money they need to retire on. Couple this with the reality that the largest risk many potential retirees face is running out of funds while they’re alive, and what you have approaches a national crisis. And, who believes that Social Security will still be around. And, if it is, how much of your expenses will it cover? According to the Social Security Administration itself, only about 39%.

What all of this means is that the bulk of money you will need in retirement has to come from income that you generate. This is great news for self-directed IRA owners. Since you’re going to have to create the bulk of the money you need to live on in retirement anyway, shouldn’t you be able to choose which investments to make? A self-directed IRA gives you complete control over how your retirement funds are invested. You can use it to invest in anything you want.

Take Control of Your Retirement with a Self-Directed IRA: Investing in Real Estate

One of the best nontraditional investments that can pay off handsomely for self-directed IRA owners is investing in real estate. It is still the number one path to wealth creation in the world, and with control over your self-directed IRA funds, you can make the following types of real estate investments:

Tax Liens and Tax Certificates
Discounted Notes
Purchase Investment Property
Purchase Commercial Property
Raw Land
Among many more!

Moving From England To USA

Tuesday, July 1st, 2008

My life is definitely looking up! I met the love of my life a few months ago and now, here I am, ready to move my whole life an ocean away. Jay is an American. It was love at first sight but he was only here for a total of three short months before he had to return home to New York.

Now, here I sit amongst crates, barrels and tea chests while my international moving company guys pack up my house and load it all into an ocean-going container. I found them by Googling international moving company on the internet and then putting in my home country of England and my destination, US – New York. They gave me online quotes and, after checking them out on the Better Business Bureau and Epinion, I chose the one that was best for me.

The international moving company agent was so helpful. I’ve never even been to another country so she helped me with everything from planning the move to letting me know what papers I needed to have with me to emigrate.

Jay has already bought a house and booked the church for our wedding. I’m so excited I can hardly sit still - I’m not sure how I’ll sit in a plane for hours. I’m so excited to see the Statue of Liberty, Wall Street, Central Park, Rockefeller Center, Times Square and the Empire State Building. It was my international moving company agent that advised me of these tourist attractions. I’ve been checking them out on the Internet but it’s not the same as being there! Jay and I plan to just sight-see around New York for our honeymoon.

My international moving company agent and I have struck up a friendship. Her name is Pam and she’s going to be in New York at the same time as we’re getting married. So I invited her to the wedding. I can’t wait for her to meet Jay. He’s such a wonderful person and I keep pinching myself to prove it’s not all just a dream. Four months ago I was lonely and depressed. Now, I feel like a totally different person - I have a purpose, a future and someone who wants to share it all with me.

I’m a writer, so I can work from anywhere – a bonus when you’re packing up your whole life and moving! Otherwise I’d have to get visas and then search for work in New York. The more I think about how easy it is to be making this move, the more I think that it was meant to be. I just had to go through twenty-nine years before it actually happened for me!
